Whether you are considering a legal career, a law student or a present or past lawyer, please join us at this year's OM Legal Event - an opportunity to socialise, network and to hear from our Guest Speaker, Taner Dedezade (Winterstoke 1987- 92).

Taner is a Barrister specialising in international construction law, particularly disputes arising out of international construction and engineering projects. For the first ten years of his career, he appeared as a skilled advocate before the UK Courts including the Court of Appeal. For the next 20 years, he has appeared before many Dispute Boards and Arbitration Tribunals in disputes arising out of building and engineering disputes using the FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) forms of contract.

He also sits as a Dispute Board Member and ICC (International Chamber of Commerce)  Arbitrator in the hope of avoiding or resolving disputes. He is a renowned speaker and writer in his field. Taner's talk is entitled ''Career choices, and life as an international Construction Barrister and Dispute Resolver” and will be followed by a Q&A session.

The Legal Event includes drinks and a buffet, with the venue providing fine views of St Paul's Cathedral.
